VAAB will achieve our mission by providing leadership in four key areas:
Provide financial management mentorship to IAVA-Georgia for a time limited period.
Provide both physical and virtual spaces for our current generation of veterans to be
mentored by earlier generations of veterans in a community of peers.
Linking IAVA area leaders and their “platoons” with resources dedicated to social,
service, success, or sports tracks.
Linking current era veterans with resources/programs to address ongoing transition needs.
Local resources and partner veteran service organizations (VSO).
Support national Veterans awareness campaigns.
Increase local awareness of veterans’ issues.
Promote civic responsibility based on core military values.
Join with other-era veterans and civilian supporters to accomplish our goal.
Support common Veterans national legislative priorities at the state and local level.
Engage public and private sector stakeholders and enlist their support.
In word and deed, promote ideals of equal opportunity, equal liberty, and shared sacrifice.
